Hengelo is without doubt a genuine business city with a lot of companies; this is expressed in the colour and material choice of this floor and of course through photo’s and works of art. There are several industrial goods exhibited of several companies from Hengelo. The rooms on this floor are also decorated in this theme.
Visual arts, paintings or arts combined with photography. These varying exhibitions, which give young talent the opportunity to display there work on this floor, constantly surprise you at every visit to our hotel. The colours used by the artist Mondriaan for his abstract paintings form the inspiration for this floor.
Travelling is of course a theme that appeals to many people. Who doesn’t dream about a trip to Africa, America or other far away destinations? You can find it all on our travel themed floor. The rooms are decorated within the style of different countries with a variety of object and paintings on the walls.
Theatre, you get a warm feeling on this floor with the beautiful warm colours of the theatre. In the hallways you are standing face to face with several celebrities and the rooms are also fully decorated in the theme. If you would like to see a show, you can visit the Rabotheater that is situated next to the Hampshire City Hotel - Hengelo (Shows are only available in the Dutch language).
On the 5th floor of the Hampshire City Hotel - Hengelo incredible Superior Rooms are realised. These rooms are ideal when you stay in our hotel for a longer time but also when you want extra comfort and enjoy your stay intensely.
